Giving back to local schools is deeply important to us, especially here in Queens, where so many of our own students and families call PS84Q home. Knowing that our contribution helps the PS84Q PTA fund programs and experiences for students makes it even more meaningful.

This year marked our second consecutive year as a Gold Sponsor of PS84Q Winterfest. We’re incredibly grateful for the trust the PS84Q community places in us—both as an educational partner and as a local business that cares deeply about its families.
Ms. Ourania, Ms. Mabel, and Ms. Katherine spent the afternoon representing Tip-Top Brain, chatting with current families, meeting new ones, and sharing more about our after-school, tutoring, and camp programs. But most of all, we were there to do what we love most: spark curiosity through hands-on learning.
STEAM Activities That Stole the Show
Our table was busy busy (and totally packed!) with kiddos who just couldn’t get enough of the STEAM challenges we brought along. All afternoon, students rotated through mini activities designed to get them thinking, tinkering, and testing out ideas:
- Squishy Circuits – Kids used conductive dough to light up LEDs and explore how electricity flows through a circuit.
- No-Hands Cup Stacking Challenge – Armed only with a rubber band and teamwork, students had to lift and stack cups—no hands allowed! This one turned into a friendly competition quickly.
- Snowball Catapults – With mini catapults and soft “snowballs,” kids experimented with angles, force, and distance… and celebrated every successful launch.
Many students returned multiple times—first to try, then to improve, and finally to bring a friend along for the challenge. That’s exactly the kind of curiosity and persistence we LOVE to see.
