Date & Time
Saturday, December 9th 2 hour long event from 3:30pm to 5:30pm
Grades
For students in grades 2nd - 8th
Why you should attend the Hour of Code event at Tip-Top Brain:
- Students will have TWO hours of coding/game design & learning! Other hosts are only one hour long.
- We have a 1:10 teacher to student ratio, compared to big companies (e.g. Apple Store) who will just get as many students in the door as possible with limited student supervision/guidance.
- Our students will not only learn coding/game design, but also learn about basic terminology, the computer science field itself, and what career possibilities are out there! No other host is offering this teaching component.
- Our students will be guided by instructors with extensive computer knowledge and/or specialized in computer science, compared to others who will just hire an extra set of employees to manage a high volume of kids.
- Our students will be learning in a kid-friendly and quiet environment, not a busy and/or noisy store or center.
- Finally, our students have the potential to continue learning coding/game design throughout the year, and not have to wait until next year for the next hour of code event!
